Tak taunak cakap siapa betul skrgAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797036167607787843.post-71339140578649206052011-11-27T07:48:13.294+08:002011-11-27T07:48:13.294+08:00N.AJIS tak ngaku air kotor siam dah kena tolong......N.AJIS tak ngaku air kotor siam dah kena tolong...S'pore helps Thailand monitor water quality in Bangkok<br /> 15<br />Share AsiaOne<br />Saturday, Nov 26, 2011 <br />Thailand's Metropolitan Water Authority (MWA) has requested assistance with ensuring the quality of their water supply in Bangkok and areas affected by the recent floods.<br /><br />PUB has delivered 50 units of online pH- and turbidity-sensors to the MWA to enhance the monitoring of water quality in the treatment process in Bangkok.<br /><br />In addition, the MWA has accepted PUB's offer to provide training to MWA staff on risk assessment and water safety plan formulation; as well as to provide laboratory services for testing of water samples from MWA.<br /><br />A four-member team from PUB visited Bangkok from November 10 to 12 to carry out an assessment of the assistance needed.<br /><br />PUB's Chief Executive, Chew Men Leong, is currently in Bangkok to meet with the MWA Governor, Charoen Passara, and oversee the implementation of the assistance initiatives.<br /><br />The Singapore Government had earlier donated relief supplies worth US$115,000, including tents, generators, blankets, lamps and water containers.<br /><br />The Singapore Armed Forces also donated 45 motorised boats, sandbags, bed sheets and blankets to the Royal Thai Army to help with the flood relief efforts.<br /><br />This was in addition to the Singapore Government's initial contribution of US$100,000 as seed money to kick-start the Singapore Red Cross appeal for donations for floods affecting countries in the region including Thailand and Cambodia.<br /><br />The Singapore Red Cross presented a contribution of S$100,000 to the Thai Red Cross in Bangkok in October, and has donated 38 boats and 17,000 bottles of water.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
